Tuesday October 20 1908 Will went down to Marys awhile in the morning I was busy with the work and after dinner went down myself. I had the best visit I had had with her for nearly a year. got our suppers and worked at my tatting all evening. 13 years today Charles was buried. Wednesday October 21st 1908 Will is so lame he can hardly do the work. They have not begun to crib corn yet. I sewed some on the machine in afternoon it was so warm up stairs. I made a pair of pillow cases for Mother. I washed in evening. Thursday October 22 1908 I did the house work and finished Mothers cases It was warm today. Will about the same and doing all the work. I made tatting in the evening. Friday October 23 1908 We were both busy with the regular work till early dinner I went down home at 12.12. John some better. at 2.30 Hattie and I walked to town I took Otts horse and drove her out to Summit St. I got back down town to do some errands and home at 3.30. Did the evening work read some and made tatting weather cloudy.
