Wednesday October 28 1908 I put the carpet down in our room and Will helped me put the furniture back in before noon. It was very mild and pleasant so I swept all the upper story. Cleaned windows and wood-work and took up the hall and stair carpet. I sewed carpet in the evening. Thursday October 29 1908 We began work after early breakfast on the two rooms we live in down stairs. took out both carpets and I cleaned wood-work and floors before noon. In the afternoon I put down the carpets as fast as Will cleaned them and by four oclock put the stove up again. I put things to rights and got supper. Friday October 30 1908 I put in the forenoon putting up curtains and doing some cooking. In the afternoon I swept the parlor cleaned wood work and put things to rights. Weather cool but pleasant. Will is doing the work as best he can with his lame leg. He has not been down to Woolfs but hears Mary has sold the 11 acres for $3,300 I fixed some curtains in the evening.
