Wednesday November 11 1908 We had breakfast on time and Mollie went to town at 8.12 by nine oclock every thing was done and we were ready to start down to Ed McCallister. Had a pleasant visit and get home in time to do evening work. Weather cold. Thursday November 12 1908 Did the work and got dinner by 11.30 I went down home at 12.12 taking the folks butter. I stopped to see Mr & Mrs [Bremer?] I came back to town to do errands and home at 4.39. We had a joplin paper today telling of Ralph Corbins death in that place early Tuesday morning. It is very sad for Jesse I liked Ralph very much and am glad I was privileged to meet him. Friday November 13 1908 I got my morning work done and down town at 9.12. I looked for a fur cloak and found it at [Stubs?], price $90.00 I came home and got dinner and Will went down for it in the afternoon. I know I will enjoy having it very much. I sewed in afternoon. Saturday November 14 1908 I was busy with the work all forenoon had dinner at 11.30 Mary Woolf out to spend the day. Will to town awhile Jennie came for Mary about four oclock it was snowing some. I was sewing what spare time I had through the day.
