Sunday November 15 1908 It was bright and warmer and the snow was nearly all gone by non. I was busy at the work all forenoon I wrote to Lydia, Lizzie Lindley and Mattie [Onstatt?]. Fred Stevens closed the contract yesterday for my lot on the river front that Mother gave me he paid $100. down and is to pay 1400. the first of March 1909 Monday November 16 1908 I got the dinner so I went down at 12.12. I stopped at Otts awhile to visit with Mrs [Bremer?] and then spent the rest of the afternoon with Mother. I wore my new cloak down to let them see it. I worked on my tatting in the evening. I had a letter from Lizzie Lindley & Ann [Hensler?] of Chicago. Tuesday November 17 1908 I was busy with the work all forenoon. I took some things down home in the buggy after dinner. I did not stay long I stopped at Woolfs on the way home. Did some sewing, in evening went to lecture with Frankie [Pointoin?] Wednesday November 18 1908 Worked in the forenoon and went down town at 2.12 to see about another hat. I got a few things I needed and was at the doctor's office. The weather is warm and pleasant I did not get home till 4.39 Did evening work and read some.
