Friday December 18 1908 I had churning and extra work to do. Mrs Jones was over a little while. I got dinner early so Will went to town I sent the butter to the home folks. I worked all the afternoon sewing together a tatting and lace handkerchief for Nellie Byington. I worked all the evening on tatting for anther. Will has sold the hay stocks and all feed north of the R.R. to Art Jones for $125.00 and he took possession today. Saturday December 19 1908 I was busy all forenoon with bread baking and the regular work. will sent Jerseys calf to town by Art Jones man and he went in after an early dinner. I worked at my tatting all afternoon. Will and I went down town at 6.12 to go to The Welsh Concert at the M E Church which was very fine We did not get home till nearly twelve. I called down at Mr Davis a few moments in the afternoon. Sunday December 20 1908 It was late when we got up. I hurried through the work and we went to Mrs Davis funeral at 9.30. I came home and finished up the work. I wrote letters in the afternoon and read in the evening. We went to bed early.
