Tuesday May 4th 1909 Will did a big cleaning for me and the I did [some?] washing & wound up very fast during the day Will is plowing for Art James. I sowed some in afternoon [then?] [Haghes?] was out for potatoes & I did the evening work and read Wednesday May 5th 1909 It was cooler this morning. I did the ironing and fixed the refrigerator so Will put in the ice. I went to town at 2.12. I did some shopping got my new hat and [illegible] at Dr Smith office. I came home at 4.30 Will was working for Art James. The little male is very much better and before hed time this evening "Bess" h and her little one all night Thursday May 6th 1909 William Byington is 11 years old today. I was busy with house work all morning and sewed all afternoon Will busy plowing A nice bright day, & had a card from Lizzie [Lundley?], with "Lissie" et Friday May 7th 1909 I? hurried through with my work and took the [bolts?] down home at 8.12 I came back to town got some [Chimps?] and home at 10.30. Will was going to town in the little waggon after dinner to get nails for the home so I went down home for the afternoon It was a pleasant day, I worked on my [?] in the morning Wills birthday he is 61 today. He worked for Art James
