Sunday June 6th 1909 I was up about as early as usual and worked all forenoon doing some baking and wash that had to be done. I took a bath and rested awhile after dinner and then did some reading and writing Will read and rested all he could. Monday June 7th 1909 There was no men at work today. I sewed on a pair of pillow cases I was making for Fred & Effie I had to make more tatting and worked at that. It seemed good to rest a little time. Will sold the red cow today to Port James for $62.50 Tuesday June 8th 1909 The men did not come to plaster today. Will went to town in the forenoon and got a lot of things. I went down in afternoon to select another door and get locks & hinges. I did a few errands came home at 5:30. Wednesday June 9th 1909 Two men came to plaster today. It rained all day long I waited to go down to see Ray [Ryingtown?] and his wife who came this morning but could not We put the little chickens in the house tonight. Will got it ready for them. Thursday June 10th 1909 The men finished plastering at noon Oh such a mess Will helped me clean up some. I went down home at 4.12 and stayed till 7.30. I like Ray's wife very much
