Friday July 22nd 1904 I did ironing and got dinner. The boys working in the hay. I felt so badly I laid down most of the afternoon. I have [winter?] cold I think and my head is giving me trouble. Did evening work. Saturday July 23rd 1904 I am 53 years old today. I was busy all forenoon doing sweeping baking and getting a nice dinner. Will went to town but cut hay afternoon. I went down town called at Mrs Rich and Miss Boyes with Mother and Hattie and at Nell Swishes and Mrs [Sterlings?] alone. stopped at Mary Woolfs for cabbage plants that Will and I put out after supper. Sunday July 24th 1904 I did up the morning work and Will and I went down home to spend the day. I did not feel well my head hurts. I did the evening work and went to bed early. Monday July 25th 1904 I felt better and did the work getting up a nice dinner. Fannie and Gerta Fletcher were here a few moments in the morning. The men at work in the hay. I laid down part of the afternoon. Did evening work.
