Monday November 21st 1904 It was such a fine day. Will went to town in the morning. I swept all the lower story in the forenoon and we put up the rope curtains. I washed windows and worked at house cleaning all afternoon. I looked for Henry Hart but he telephoned her could not come. Tuesday November 22nd 1904 Henry started home this morning. I washed some things Will helped some. he then went up to the pasture. I put in the afternoon doing some sweeping and washing more windows up stairs. He took out all the screens for me. It was as warm and still as summer time. Wednesday November 23rd 1904 There was a strong cold wind blowing today. I swept and cleaned the south room up stairs in the afternoon. I had churning and ironing in the morning. Will went to a sale in the afternoon. The boys finished corn before noon. a letter from Lydia. Thursday November 24th 1904 Thanksgiving day. We went down home after the work was done. Only the family were there.a very pleasant time. a fine day. Ott went to Cedar Rapids after dinner. Will and I spent evening down at Woolfs.
