Saturday February 11th 1905 Walter went home this morning, he does not feel able to work. I was busy with the work a part of the day and knit some. Will worked till noon. He rested after dinner. We had supper in good time and he went down on the car for a few things. It has snowed most of the day and is very cold indeed. Sunday February 12th 1905 It was an intensely cold day, below zero all day. Will was obliged to be out with the stock most of the forenoon. I kept fires got our meals and read some. We sat up late. Monday February 13th 1905 It was 32 below this morning. The girls Hattie & Fannie put in the day at a sale the church was having in the store. I read and knit some. Will busy with the care of the stock. Tuesday February 14th 1905 It snowed and blowed today. It was a fright. The cars stopped running at noon.
