Friday February 24th 1905 It was a rainy ugly day. I did the work though I feel miserable. Will went to town on the car in the afternoon to get stuff for a plaster for my lungs Saturday February 25th 1905 I have a terrible cold in my lungs. I baked the bread and did the work. I sewed a little in the afternoon. Will went to town for things we needed on the car. I read in the evening, went to bed early. a bright day. Sunday February 26th 1905 It was five years today since we bought this place. I dont think we have any need to regret it. I have done the house work and read some. My cold is still bad. weather bright in the morning but set in to snow at four oclock. Monday February 27th 1905 I felt wretched. I coughed very hard. The snow nearly all melted away today. I got the work done with Wills help. I worked a little at fancy work and light sewing and read a little. Tuesday February 28th 1905 I felt some better. Had churning to do today. Hattie came out at one oclock stayed till 5:30. Will to town in the buggy. He sold 6 head of cattle this morning that brought $177.77. thawing weather.
