17th I took a walk out to Fletchers were gone about an hour. When we came back he went to town and got a team to take a drive to the valley. It was pleasant going down but cold coming back. Did not get home till nine oclock. Got lunch after we came home. Monday February 9th 1874 It was a beautiful morning. Winnie and I went to town this morning when the boys went to school. I did ever so many errands and still we wasent gone very long. I saw Mr Huebner on the street he leaves for Chicago tonight. After I came home I baked a cake to take over to Folsoms tonight Mother was to town in the afternoon and I was busy doing the housework. Just before night Jim Anderson and family came to stay all night. We all went to the party tonight. It was a success. Though I did not enjoy myself as well tonight as I did a week ago tonight. Charlie and I had some trouble today which made me feel badly.
