26th Monday March 2nd 1874 I got up early this morning and got at my washing as soon as I got through breakfast. Although I had a very large washing I finished it by noon. After dinner I rode out to Mrs Dennisons with Rob, as he was going after wood. He came after me after supper and Allen Hatt and Winnie came too. I brought the clothes in after I came home. And read all the evening. Tuesday March 3rd 1874 I sewed a little in the morning and helped Hattie with her share of the ironing. I ironed all the afternoon helped clean up the house made a fire in the parlor. Owen came in to spend the evening. We played cards. Wednesday March 4th 1874 Mother went to town. This morning I sewed a little and got most of the dinner. In the afternoon to town got material for Father some shirts cut them out after I came home. In the evening all of us young folks went to Medical Commencement. I got my ring this afternoon.
