35th Wednesday March 25th 1874 I helped do the work in the forenoon. Mother went to town in the afternoon I sewed on my white waist after I had the dinner dishes washed. When Owen came home in the afternoon he came in the room where I was sewing and showed me tickets he had got for the theater. We went and was well pleased with it. The play was Divorced. It was nearly twelve oclock when we got home. girls came home at noon. Thursday March 26th 1874 Mother and I washed this morning and put the clothes to soak as it looked too much rain to hang them out. I sewed some in the afternoon and all of the evening. Hattie did my hair up in papers. We went to bed early. put the clothes at tonight. Friday March 27th 1874. The girls did most of the ironing this forenoon while I did some baking and cleaned up the house. finished fixing my white waist this afternoon while Mother
