36th was gone to town. When she came home she brought me a new pink sash to wear tonight. Hatt and Garretson went to the party at eight oclock. It was nearly nine before Owen and I went. Just as we started Rob and Miss Thompson came along and we all went together Winnie did not go. I enjoyed my self very well. We came home between two and three oclock. Saturday March 28th 1874 I helped about the house-work all the forenoon. As soon as the dinner dishes was washed I went down to Robinsons and was gone till nearly supper time. I helped get the supper and do up the work. Owen sent Lee over to town and got a nice new deck of cards. Owen and I played against Winnie and Father at whist all the evening. Sunday March 29th 1874 Mother and Lee went to the valley today. I did the work and wrote some. Mr Luse
