48th Friday April 24th 1874. As soon as she could get ready this morning Mother went to the valley alone in the buggy. I cut out Hatties dress and sewed on it what little time I had. I had the supper nearly ready when Mother got home. Hattie came home with her As she was not at all well. In the evening Rob and Winnie went over to the exhibition at the Chapel. Mother and Hattie were down to Mrs McGoverns most of the evening. I sewed considerable on Hatties dress. I was awful tired tonight. Saturday April 25th I sewed nearly all day. Hattie helped do the work. I got her dress all done to the buttons and about five oclock Winnie and I went to town in the buggy. We met J.J. Huebner on the street. Owen found the buggy at Mr Givens store where we had left it and drove around town like a crazy boy for awhile and then rode of home, and we were obliged to walk. When we got nearly
