50th Tuesday April 28th 1874. We washed this forenoon and after dinner I cleaned up the house and went to town before supper. Winnie had gone to town earlier in the afternoon. I met her over there and we came home together I helped get the supper and do up the work and we played whist all the evening. Wednesday April 29th 1874. I ironed this morning and in the afternoon Mother Winnie and I all went to town. Mother walked and us girls went in the buggy. We got a lot of groceries and traps and Winnie and I came right back. But Mother did not get home till supper was ready. I sewed a little in the evening but as I was very tired I went to bed early. A real pleasant spring day. Thursday April 30th 1874. It was very warm today for the time of year. I was busy cleaning up the house all the forenoon. After dinner Owen wanted me
