67th Monday June 1st 1874. Mother started real early this morning to take Hattie to the country. I did up the work and began to write a letter to a friend in Newark Ohio. Winnie went to town this forenoon and in the afternoon we washed an awful lot of calico things. After supper Winnie and I took Folsoms' lamps home. We did not stay long and Arth walked home with Winnie, and Mollie walked to the hill with me We stopped there and had a long talk. When I got home I rolled up the clothes. and finished my letter. Did not go to bed till quite late. Three years ago today I attended a picnic at Gatton. Tuesday June 2nd 1874. It was raining this morning. Us girls ironed. In the afternoon I sewed on my polinaise. Winnie went to town after supper. I went to the style to meet her. I sewed all the evening. and she practiced.
