68th Wednesday June 3rd 1874. It was late before we got up this morning and nearly nine oclock before we began to wash. and it was and awful big washing By four in the afternoon it was all done and the porch and kitchen scrubbed. I changed my dress and helped get the supper early. As soon as we had eaten our supper, Winnie and I drove to town. Called to see Elsie Moreland. Had a very pleasant call. Drove around town some and then got home in good season. After I came home I rolled up the clothes and trimmed some embroidery. It was late before us girls went to bed. Winnie had company. Thursday June 4th 1874. I got to my ironing real early this morning and got it done by half past eleven oclock. I was at home alone most of the forenoon. As all the rest of the folks had gone to town to see the Show parade
