73rd delivered the cream, I started to take Lee down to Jim McCollisters. But a woman who had been down there and she said they were just ready to go to the valley to spend the day. We turned and came back home. I sewed on Mothers dress all the afternoon. Winnie and Hattie went to town and as did Mother. I got the supper myself and after supper sewed till ten oclock. Weather some pleasanter. Sunday June 14th 1874. It was late before we got the work done up. I read a little before time to get the dinner. After dinner Hattie had the head-ache and I helped wash the dishes. I wrote in the afternoon and talked with Owen, while Mother and the girls all laid down to sleep. I helped get the supper and wash the dishes and Rob, Owen and myself sat out on the porch and talked all the evening I enjoyed the evening very much indeed. We had some rain today, and the weather is very cold for the time of year.
