79th Friday June 26th 1874. The folks all started early to Hattie's school picnic in the valley. I finished my work and sat down to sew on my dress At eleven oclock I got up and got the dinner ready by the time Owen came home. Mollie was over awhile in the afternoon and at five oclock the folks came from the picnic as tired and dusty a set as we could wish to see The girls went to society with Rob, and I went to bed early. Weather intensely warm. Saturday June 27th 1874. Hattie helped Mother do the house-work today and I sewed on my dress. Rather late in the afternoon Mrs Murry and Mrs Smith called, they took supper with us. The girls went over to Sallies awhile in the evening. I sewed while they were gone, and as soon as they came home we all went to bed. Sunday June 28th 1874. We got up pretty early this morning and After we had finished the morning work I
