89th Wednesday July 22nd 1874 I helped do house-work most of the day. Cousin Sallie, Esther, and Mrs Hart and Mary spent the day here. After supper I went up town with Esther and got a new flower to put on me a new hat. Mother had a letter from Charlie. Thursday July 23rd 1874. I am twenty three years old today. I finished Charlies shirts this morning. And then put in the rest of the day baking and cleaning up the house. After supper Winnie and I drove over to town after a few notions. We had such a pleasant little company tonight and enjoyed ever so well even if the weather was warm. Friday July 24th 1874. I did not feel very well today. But sewed all day on different things. Mother was in town most all day. Was nearly sick when she came home. Weather very warm. Saturday July 25th 1874. The very warmest day of the season. I sewed on several different things. About six
