97th Thursday August 13th 1874. It was a very warm day. We had young lady visitors from town. After supper us girls went down town. Did a little shopping and called at Etts. I had a letter from Mother this morning. Friday August 14th 1874. I sewed a little this forenoon, and after dinner I had the tooth-ache so badly that Laura went down town with me to have my teeth pulled I had a couple taken out. We got home just in time for supper. Weather some-what cooler. Saturday August 15th 1874. We were all very industrious today, sewing nearly all the time. After an early supper Jennie and I went down town, and did not get home till nearly bedtime, a pleasant Eve. Sunday August 16th 1874. I did not feel very well this morning so I did not go to church. I wrote a long letter to Mother and one to Charlie. In the afternoon Ett and Tom were out. Toward evening us girls got the hired man to drive for us and we
