103rd Wednesday September 2nd 1874. Did up the work this morning and went up town to do some marketing. Aunt and Uncle and Aunt Polly Hess were here for dinner. George and his wife came here to stay all night. I went up town in the evening. Thursday September 3rd 1874. I went up town this morning, and got an early dinner after I came home. As soon as dinner was over, George and his wife, went out home. I spent the evening over to Beechers. Friday September 4th 1874. Tommy started to Baltimore today. I went up town in the afternoon. Did a large washing today. It stormed in the evening. Saturday September 5th 1874. I ironed a little this morning and then went up town to do some shopping. As soon as I got home, I got the dinner ready and helped Etta get ready to take a drive with the folks. After she was gone I did some baking and dressed myself to go up town. I had
