106th Monday September 14th 1874. I washed today and did not get done till after noon. It stormed about supper time. I read all the evening. Tuesday September 15th 1874. I ironed this forenoon, and did house-work most of the afternoon. I did expect to go up town with Mrs Beecher in the evening but Ett was afraid to stay alone so I did not go. I staid all night with Mrs Beecher. Wednesday September 16th 1874. As soon as I did up the work this morning I went up town after fruit cans, and as I had to wait for them I went over to the T.W. & W. depot. After I came back Ett and I put up five cans of peaches. I got two letters from Charlie and one from Rob. I wrote Charlie a few lines and went up town in the afternoon. I came home and got the supper over and went up again. Mr Graff walked home with me, very kind of him to be sure. Mr Beecher and Owen were both away so I staid with Mrs Beecher tonight.
