114th Saturday October 10th 1874. I washed and ironed both today. I had not washed any for myself for three weeks and I had quite a washing. I did not get my ironing all done till after night. Etta spent the afternoon here. And Tommy was out to supper. Went to the valley to a party a year ago tonight. Sunday October 11th 1874. We all went to church this morning. In the afternoon I wrote to Rob and to Charlie and read in the evening. A cold day. Monday October 12th 1874. School again today. I put in all my spare time during the day and evening working on Robs scarf. Weather chilly and disagreeable. Tuesday October 13th 1874. Went to school today. In the evening I had a letter from Charlie. I worked on Robs scarf all the evening. Wednesday October 14th 1874 To school again today. I had a letter from Mother in the evening and a real curiosity of
