Saturday April 1st 1905 The boys were busy about the place all forenoon but after an early dinner began sowing oats on the Kyle land. I sewed all day. I finished up dress and in the evening the collar & cuffs for Lydia. It is very pleasant spring weather. Sunday April 2nd 1905 Soon as I got my morning work done Will hitched Nellie for me and I went down to Woolfs and from there to Otts and up home. Hattie wanted to go to the cemetery so I took her up there. I got Will and I some dinner and read and wrote in afternoon. Wrote Lydia. Monday April 3rd 1905 I soon got the morning work done and began work on my blue calico dress. I sewed most of the day. The boys were busy all forenoon fixing the pens and sorting out the hogs to sell tomorrow. The weather was warm. I set two hens. Bro Robs birthday. He would have been 51 years old. Tuesday April 4th 1905 They got away with the hogs all right. I churned and cut out a lot of sewing to stitch down home. I started to go down on the two o'clock car but it was an hour late. I hurried so to get out of a rain I was nearly sick. I got home at six oclock to get supper. I set two more hens today. The boys are putting in oats. The hogs came to $386.12
