Saturday April 8th 1905 Got the breakfast over and visited with the folks till they went in town on the 11:05 car. Will walked down with them. I got dinner in time for him to go on the next car. I read and did a little mending in afternoon. I felt too tired to do anything. It has grown very much warmer. Went to bed very early. Sunday April 9th 1905 It was such a pleasant day. I walked out with Will in the morning to see about where the fence west of the barn is to be put. In afternoon read some and wrote to Joe Woolf. I took a bath and went to bed early. Monday April 10th 1905 Levi Hill began work this morning for awhile. The boys are clearing out around the barns. I sewed on my blue calico dress when not busy with the work. Weather cooler. Tuesday April 11th 1905 I was very busy in forenoon. Will churned for me and I got things done up to go to town. Will began cutting stalks. I stopped at home with the butter for them. Hattie went to town with me. We both did a lot of errand. She got out at the foot of the house hill. I came on to do the evening work. I stopped at Woolfs going down but found no one at home. weather growing cooler.
