Wednesday April 12th, 1905 I was very busy all morning did baking, got a nice dinner, and set out some plants I got yesterday. The boys hauling and WIll cutting stalks. I sewed some in afternoon. Thursday April 13th 1905 I went down early in the buggy. After seeing to some errands I went over after Mother. We came home by the Stevens road. Got the dinner and visited in afternoon. We walked down to the depot and she went home on the 5 oclock car. Will & Walter took "Fox horse" to town this morning. Friday April 14th 1905 Had churning this morning and a lot of other work. Will cut stalks. The boys finished clearing around the barns and went to the timber for wood in afternoon. I worked all afternoon in garden with my new strawberry bed. It was cold and windy, very disagreable to be out. Saturday April 15th 1905 I had a busy forenoon with cake and bread baking. Will went to town for my asparagus roots that had come. The boys brought down the rest of the wood. Levi did not work in afternoon. Will went to town and I worked out doors all afternoon. Walter made the asparagus bed. Tim Fairchilds new big boat went over the dam just before noon but fortunately no one was drowned. Weather cold and windy
