Sunday June 25th 1905 I got the morning work done and read a little. It was very warm. I washed my hair after dinner and wrote some. Toward evening we had a hard shower. Monday June 26th 1905 Will and I went down home early this morning to get some more cherries. Got home by eleven oclock and I worked all afternoon to put them up. I went down to call on Minnie Lathrop in the evening but did not find her at home. I now have up 22 qts of cherries. Tuesday June 27th 1905 I was busy all forenoon with bread baking and the dinner and picked a basket of pears to take down home. We went down in the afternoon. Nellie came last night. I shelled the pears and helped so a few other things. It looked like rain and we hurried home. It rained in evening. Nellie 18 years old today. Wednesday June 28th 1905 It was threatening but the day passed without rain. We went down home about nine oclock. The Kurpers were there preparing the dinner. I did not help much today. Most of the folks who were invited came. There was about 80 there. We had a most enjoyable day. It was six oclock when we got home. Did evening work. Alma Parvin was down. Birdie Harris could not come.
