Tuesday July 25th 1905 The men still busy with haying. We with the sewing. My black skirt is fixed and are working on the light waist. Wednesday July 26th 1905 The boys did not quite finish haying today. It was a nice day to work. We cut my new skirt and are working on other things as we can. Thursday July 27th 1905 It looked like rain but did not amount to more than a drizzle. The boys got in the rest of the hay. 43 loads in all. Will went to town in forenoon. I had the first fried chicken for dinner. We are still sewing. Friday July 28th 1909 Will took me to town early for things we needed. I got the dinner over and sewed all afternoon. We will not get through this week. weather pleasant. Saturday July 29th 1905 Will is not busy and spent most of the day in town. I made as short work as possible of the house-work and helped with the sewing all I could. Mrs Whedons daughter same out to go home with her. We have accomplished a great deal and still have another days work or more.
