Wednesday September 13th 1905 I talked with Vene awhile and went over to Andrews before noon. I am fixing my dress that was too short from washing. I went on up town for some things I needed and down to Lizzie Duncans for a call. Back to Venes for supper. Thursday September 14th 1905 I was busy sewing at Venes all forenoon. I wrote Will soon after dinner and Jim took some things for me over to Lizzie Duncans. I walked over stopping at Joe Woolfs. She walked down with me. I staid at Duncans all night. weather showery. Friday September 15th 1905 I was at Lizzies till after noon. I was sewing all morning. I went down to Woolfs about two oclock and at five Joe & I went up to the church to a social and supper, had a very pleasant time. Mrs Frank and her daughter came done with us. It was 20 years today since Rob died. September 16th 1905 I was at Joes and busy with my sewing till noon. We got up very late. I went up to the Alton depot and found out about my ticket to Carthage. I leave here Tuesday morning at 7:25, reach St Louis at 12:30, wait two hours, and reach Springfield at 9:10. I wrote some letters and came over to Venes to stay all night. I had two letters and a paper from Will. The weather is warm and cloudy.
