Sunday September 24th 1905 Mattie & Ralph came done to the car with us. We reach Carthage about noon. Alice and I went down to Emmas for dinner spent the afternoon there. Took a walk early in the evening. Mr & Mrs [Dorman?] called to spend the evening. a very warm day. Monday September 25th 1905 Aunt Lydia and I went over to Claras in the morning. The afternoon was spent in visiting and Clara and I walked down to the Frisco depot to see about my ticket. Ate supper and talked till early bed-time. a very warm day. wrote letters. Tuesday September 26th 1905 Aunt Lydia and I sat on the porch and talked all forenoon. We both took a little nap after dinner. At three oclock we went over to Charlies for supper. I like his wife and daughters very much. Clara & May came over after supper. I went back there to stay all night. weather warm. Wednesday September 27th 1905 Aunty and I went over to George Corwins this forenoon. We had a pleasant visit. Alice and Bertha came over in the afternoon bringing me letters from home. I went back with them. I feel very tired. I have taken cold and some hoarse. It was late when supper was done and we went to bed early. a very warm day.
