Saturday November 4th 1905 I had churning this morning. I got that done and the regular work done. Alma brought Mother up. Soon after dinner we went to the West farm. Only the children were at home. We looked around some and stopped at Aunt Libs awhile on our way home. After supper I spent the evening with Mrs Hover. Will came for me. The boys finished husking the small field of corn that was in oats last year. There was nearly 600 bushels. Will took "Prince" horse to town in the morning and sold him for $70.00 and at noon sold the Roan cow and calf for $50.00. He went to town at two oclock and came back at four. Sunday November 5th 1905 It rained all day long. I was busy with the work most of the forenoon and wrote letters in the afternoon. We both put in the evening reading. Monday November 6th 1905 Weather still unpleasant. I swept up stairs and washed windows. I did take up the dining room carpet. I was busy all afternoon doing cleaning inside the house. I read all the evening. The boys busy about the place.
