Wednesday December 13th 1905 I did the ironing and some other work in the forenoon had dinner very early. Will went down to Mr [Murys?] sale. I went to town on the two oclock car. Was at Dr Smiths office and went over the river with Alma. Hattie sitting up. Will came there for me Did evening work and was over to Mrs Kosers a little while. Read the papers later in the evening. weather fine. Thursday December 14th 1905 The boys went for wood. I churned and baked cookies. I took some down home in the afternoon. We stopped at Woolfs a little while. Hattie about the same. weather still fine. I read all the evening. Billy brought the last of the wood this afternoon. There was 24 big loads and about 200 posts. Friday December 15th 1905 I had bread baking today. Will went up for Mrs Dennis. She seems real well. Mr Robinson was here for dinner. I took Mrs Dennis up to see John Henry Clark before I took her home. I fixed the boys supper and dressed to go down on the 5 oclock car. Went to the Presbyterian church for supper. Mother was over. Will came down on a later car and came home with me. A day and evening very pleasantly spent. Hattie about the same.
