Thursday January 11th 1906
I swept and cleaned up our room & Billys in
the forenoon. I then got lunch and did some baking
for our late dinner. I read in the afternoon.
Frankie Pointain spent the evening here.
Friday January 12th 1906
Will washed some things for me in the morning
and went to town on the 12.30. I washed out my
dressing sacque and some stockings in the afternoon
and read all the spare time I had.
Saturday January 13th 1906
I did not feel very well. I had a lame back. I did
the regular morning work and baked a cake. Will
went to town in the afternoon and I read some.
Hattie is about the same. weather wintry and ugly.
Sunday January 14th 1906
I felt wretched all day. I managed to do the
work with Wills help and read some. It was a
cold unpleasant day.
Monday January 15th 1906
It was a frightful stormy day. I suffered intensely
with my back. Will helped me with the work
and I read some. ironed a few things this 
morning as bad as I felt. I went to bed early.
