Wednesday February 21st 1906 Will churned for me this morning and I made a batch of doughtnuts from a new recipe that I think fine. Will went to town on the car after dinner. Will & Billy sorted out 45 best hogs ready to sell. Thursday February 22nd 1906 I got my work done and a basket of stuff to send over home to take with me. Went down on the 11.04 car. Took dinner at the M. E. Church. Saw so many people I know. Called at Mrs H. H. Jones to see her sister. Mrs Leighton called at Norrine Tidds. Came down town got a lot of things and came home at 4.00 oclock. Alma Parvin was on the car. Will met me at station. Did evening work and read all evening. a fine day. Friday February 23rd 1906 Not as nice as yesterday. I swept the whole house and gave things a good cleaning up. Will went to town on the 12.30. After I finished my work took a bath and put on clean clothes. Mollie came out at 5.30. I got the supper over and we visited till nearly eleven oclock. Hattie is still improving. Mr & Mrs Bremner who have been at Otts some weeks went to Chicago today. Will brought a three old mare of Mr Robinson for $100.00.
