Will got the money together to pay all the money we owe for the farm the first of next week when the hogs go they are sold at $6.00 per [wt? ref here to hundred weight?] Friday March 2nd 1906 It was a rainy forenoon. I was busy with the work. I went over to Mrs Kosers in the afternoon. Will down to the store. Billy work about the place, His month is up today. he will go away soon. I knit in evening. It was five years today at five in the afternoon Lee died. Saturday March 3rd 1906 Billy was away for the day. Will went down at 11.04 and I at 12.34. I stopped at Otts. He gave me the check for my abstract interest. I found Hattie improving and the nurse went away tonight. I went back to town to get things needed. Will came with me. I read and knit in the evening. It has turned colder. I saw Elmer Anderson to say good-bye. They go to Canada next Tuesday. Sunday March 4th 1906 It was a cold unpleasant day. I was busy part of the forenoon with the work and read and wrote in afternoon and evening. The folks down home are about as usual. Rob went to Des Moines to spend a couple of days.
