Monday March 12th 1906 I was busy about the work all forenoon. Will was down to Woolfs for a visit. I went down to Mrs Robinsons in afternoon. Will down to school election. It was a cloudy day with cold south-east wind. Tuesday March 13th 1906 It was a snowy ugly day. Will was about home most of the day. I had churning on hand today and sewed some on a kitchen rug I am working. Hattie keeps improving. The girl left tonight but they will try to get another. Wednesday March 14th 1906 I was busy most of the forenoon with the work. I sewed some on the rug. The men were here to dehorn cattle in the forenoon. Will went to town at 12.30. I spent the afternoon down at Frankie Pointains. It snowed this afternoon. I read all the evening in English history. Thursday March 15th 1906 I had a very busy day. I baked bread and did other cooking in the forenoon and in the afternoon did sweeping and cleaned the kitchen up nicely. Will was about home and down to Coralville to put in the time. Rueben was doing odd jobs about the place. I read in the evening and went to bed early. Will down to a town meeting. weather cold.
