Tuesday March 20th 1906 I had churning this morning and Rueben helped me wash in afternoon. About four oclock I went up to Clarks for a few moments. I got the clothes in at dark and read in the evening. Will down to store. Wednesday March 21st 1906 Will went to town in forenoon. I got ironing done and sent some apples up to Mrs Clark prepared for dinner. There was such a terrible wind in the afternoon with storms of snow that I did not attempt to go to the funeral. Will was there. I read my spare time. Thursday March 22nd 1906 I got my work down in time to do down on the 9.30 car. I did some errands in town and went over home for the day. Will came done in afternoon. We came home together at 4 oclock. Hattie seems to be improving right along. It was very cold today. I had such a good letter from Lydia. I read in evening. Friday March 23rd 1906 I had bread baking and churning this forenoon. Soon after dinner Will took potatoes and other things down to Mother. I went down as far as Woolfs to spend the afternoon. We did evening work and I read till bed-time. There was a cold wind from east.
