Saturday March 24th 1906 Father is 90 years old today. I did a lot of sweeping and dusting this morning. Will went to town at 12.30. I rested some after dinner and then went down in Coralville to make calls. weather a little milder. I read all the evening. Sunday March 25th 1906 It was a cold windy day. We went down to Otts on the 11.05 car. Fannie had a fine turkey dinner for Father's birthday. Alliene Halson is here for a visit. Spent a pleasant day. Came home at four oclock. Did evening work and read all the evening. Monday March 26th 1906 It rained all day long. I worked all forenoon frying the sausage and had to do some cleaning up the house in afternoon. I read most of my spare time. Tuesday March 27th 1906 It had cleared of slightly. I baked bread and had churning done in the forenoon. I had Rueben help me wash in afternoon. I made a big lot of doughnuts in the forenoon. I did a lot of extra cleaning after the washing was done. I read some in the evening and went to bed early. The boys cannot do much about the place it is so windy. I had a splendid letter from Ida Anderson in Canada.
