Thursday April 12th 1906 I dressed a chicken this morning and did some extra work. I was sewing what spare time I had during the day. Mary Woolf was here a little while. It looked very much like rain at supper time. Will busy in the field. I was very tired and went to bed about 8 oclock. Friday April 13th 1906 It did not rain last night. I did a lot of work out of doors in the forenoon. I baked my chicken for dinner and did churning. I went down town at 2.05. I took Fannie some butter and some eggs to the grocery. I did not go over the river but called at Mildred Stevens. She is not well. I came hoe at four oclock. Will went to town with potatoes this morning. He brought a sack of sugar from Cal Clarks store. I read all evening. I set three hens in brick house today. I saw Robs little chickens in the window. Saturday April 14th 1906 It was a cold windy day. I baked bread and cake in the forenoon. Got the dinner. Will very busy, but went to town in afternoon. Took Mothers bread down. I sewed all afternoon. Sunday April 15th 1906 Easter Sunday. I did the morning work and read some. I wrote to Aunt Sarah and to "May" in the afternoon. It was a cold disagreeable day. I read awhile in the evening and we went to bed early.
