Monday April 16th 1906 I was busy with the wash all forenoon. The men at the farm work. I went down at 2.05. Was over home a little time to take them butter. I came back to town did errands to come back at 4 oclock. I had Rueben to help me make some garden. I put out grape plants. Tuesday April 17th 1906 I smoked a ham in a barrel in the yard in the morning and raked some in the yard. I had Rueben to help me and worked all afternoon in the yard. Wednesday April 18th 1906 I had bread baking this morning and did some raking in the yard besides. I works out of doors part of the afternoon. weather fine. A letter from Mary Price. Thursday April 19th 1906 I raked in the yard an hour and swept upstairs before dinner. Mr Robinson was out for dinner. In the afternoon I swept the lower story, cleaned up the kitchen good. It was such a pleasant day. Went to bed early. Friday April 20th 1906 I raked in the yard an hour. Will filled the refrigerator for the first time. I went down town at 2.05 to take the eggs for Mother to have set on an incubator. I saw Hattie in town so did not go over home. They finished putting in the oats today.
