Saturday April 28th 1906 I cleaned the garret in forenoon. Will went to town in buggy for more wire for the boys to make fence. he went back in afternoon on the car. Rueben and I worked out of doors all afternoon. It has been a very busy week and I went to bed at eight oclock very tired. Sunday April 29th 1906 I did some work in the forenoon that I neglected yesterday. I wrote a letter to Ida Anderson and a few lines to John Helmich in the afternoon and read a little in the evening. Quite a pleasant day. Monday April 30th 1906 The boys both went to plow in the forenoon and I did churning alone and baked cookies. I had Rueben doing chores about the place in afternoon and I did a little sewing. I was tired went to bed early. Tuesday May 1st 1906 I was looking after some work out side and doing the regular work in the forenoon. Mary Woolf was out in the afternoon. We had a grand visit. I was fixing some sleeves in some old shirts for Will. There was a slight rain this morning but the afternoon was warm. Hattie is not feeling so very well. Will plowing all afternoon.
