Wednesday June 6th 1906 I got the morning work done. I picked a basket of strawberries to send down to the folks when John brought Mother out. I canned some today. I fixed a skirt for Mother on afternoon. She went home at 5:30. Will sold the little sorrel horse "Billy" to Art Jones hired man and took him in forenoon. afternoon to town. Thursday June 7th 1906 We had a hard rain last night. I had Rueben help me wash in forenoon and I ironed in afternoon and after supper we all picked strawberries. I felt I had about done a days work. weather fine. Friday June 8th 1906 Hattie came out early by car. I picked a basket of berries for her while she picked mine over. After dinner Will took us to town I brought her back home and I stopped at Woolfs. Will came back with a horse of Charles Wilsons he had sold. Saturday June 9th 1906 Was very busy all forenoon picked some berries. Will took me over to Mrs Rauchs to an Elder Daughters party in afternoon. I called at Henry Birds. We came home in time to do evening work. It was nine oclock when I got my work done.
