Wednesday June 13th 1906 I got the wash done and Will and I went down to 10.30 I stopped to Commencement awhile. I then went over the river. Cousin By Byington came last night. They, John & Mrs Helmich, Mr Charmers, Ella Rhodes and ourselves were the extra ones for dinner. We had a very delightful day talking over old times. We came home at 5 oclock. We heard from Laura Mason today. I wrote her. Thursday June 14th 1906 The weather looked gloomy today but Hattie and the Halson girls came up. We had a nice visit. I picked over strawberries on afternoon and put them up at supper time. The girls went home at 5 oclock. I have not felt so very well today. Friday June 15th 1906 I was sick all last night. Will went in and got me medicine. I kept up with the work all day. Saturday June 16th 1906 I felt better and got dinner for Cousin By who came out with Will. I walked down to the depot at 3.30 with him and Will went down home for The Mason girls who had come in from the east at 2.40. They got here in time for early supper and we spent the evening visiting. weather warm and dust very bad.
