Friday July 6th 1906 I had baking to do and was all forenoon getting dinner. The girls did up the work and washed some and I took Lor and the children for a ride. we were at home and over town. Did evening work and visited in evening. Saturday July 7th 1906 The girls did their ironing and I had churning and other work to do. Lor was busy getting ready to go down to Woolfs. Edith took her down after dinner and she went down town at 3.30. We had early supper. Will had been down town. Then Laura and I went. Did some shopping and went over to Otts. Edith came home with us at [9.30?] Washed dishes, then went to bed. Sunday July 8th 1906 The girls went to S. S. and church and I was busy all forenoon getting a nice dinner. Otts family came out from church and we spent a very pleasant afternoon. They went home about four oclock. I did my chores and got some supper. We all sat on the porch till late bed-time listening to the band play at Chester Park. Woolfs did not bring Lor and the children back tonight. George Foltz died early this morning.
