Monday July 9th 1906 I was busy all forenoon with the regular work and the dinner. I sewed a little in afternoon. Jennie brought Lor and the children back. Minnie Showers and Florence were here part of the afternoon. Spent the evening on the porch. Tuesday July 10th 1906 Will took Lor and the children to the train about nine oclock. I had got the work along so I could begin to wash. I had Rueben to help me. I finished soon after dinner and worked all afternoon at sweeping and cleaning. I did the regular work and folded the clothes. John Whetstone came out on the car for an hour visit. Ott was nominated for Judge again. Wednesday July 11th 1906 I did churned and ironing in the forenoon and got dinner. Clarence Vaughn was helping put up hay. I sewed in afternoon and finished dress skirt. Was down in Coralville in evening. Very warm. Thursday July 12th 1906 I was busy all forenoon with the dinner. Legrand brought Mother out. Ott came for his dinner. The girls got back at noon. Edith went home with Mother for supper coming back at 7.30. We spent the evening on the porch. It looked like rain but did not come.
