Monday September 10th 1906 It was very warm. I did not try to work. I did some sewing. I am making a wrapper into a dress skirt. I put up some tomatoes and worked with grapes. Tuesday September 11th 1906 Will went to the pasture this morning after a cow that had a young calf. I washed out a few things, picked up some plums. Father was out for a little while. I sewed in afternoon. weather warmed. Wednesday September 12th 1906 I put up more tomatoes and had early dinner. Will went down to the fair at 12.30. I went on the next car. I had a very nice afternoon. Will and I came home together. warm again today. Thursday September 13th 1906 It turned cooler in the night and a strong wind blowing made me give up going to the fair. Will went at 11.30. I was busy sewing most of the day. I was down in Coralville awhile. Friday September 14th 1906 Hattie and Fannie were out for plums. I was making jelly and baking bread. I sewed in the afternoon and Will mowed the weeds in the big yard. I had a miserable afternoon with sneezing. weather warm again.
