Saturday September 15th 1906 It was 22 years tonight since Rob died. I put in a very busy day with baking and some washing, ironing and sweeping. Will to town in afternoon. I have not had so much trouble with my sneezing today. Sunday September 16th 1906 It was a very warm day. Will and I were invited down home for dinner. I went on the car and he came later in the buggy. Alliene Halson was there. We had such a good visit. Monday September 17th 1906 I was busy with the regular work. I put up some tomatoes and did some sewing. Will went up to Mr Danners in the morning and rented more pasture. Luella stopped in the evening for the money. Frankie Pointain was here to tell me of the excursion to the Old Ladys at Cedar Rapids the 27th. I expect to go. Tuesday September 18th 1906 I went down town at 8.30, came back at 10.15. I met Mrs Fuches and asked her about peaches. She sells them for $6.00 a bushel if you pick them. Will hitched Nellie for me. I went over and got a bushel and was at home by four oclock. I worked till after ten oclock putting them up. weather warm. It was 22 years today since we buried Bro Rob.
